We're meeting new folks around here.
1. Deborah's meeting this cute lil' guy someone was giving away. Howdy, horsie. (this was their first meeting. She saw him, ran over, then stopped and sat down right in front of him to study and see just what this new guy was all about. :)
I think it's love. ;)
2. I'm meeting my blog. "Hello! ...again..." ;) *sheepish grin*
3. I finally met the new year. (Deborah's clearly thrilled about this one. ;)
January was jam-packed with all sorts of things - including lots of sickness in the family, so I just made my New Years resolutions. I guess they're more like 'new life' resolutions, starting (or re-starting) in 2013. I'm pretty pumped about them. Amongst many things, I'm going to try to develop some of my talents! In college that's what you do all the time you're at school - develop your talents. Then you get married and have a baby and start caring for someone else 24 hours a day 7 days a week and your whole life schedule changes, and you realize (hem, hem, this is the "universal 'you'" I'm talking about. Which I suppose if we get right down to it means I.) Okay, I realize that I miss those other talents I used to develop. Not that I'm not learning and growing and stretching all the time as a mother and a wife, but I have a serious desire to create and grow in ways not 100% related to mothering. I do have to admit, however, that even though I just made these goals last week (just a part of which is talent-pursuit), I did not fulfill them all. Perhaps that means that I was over ambitious when I set them, but for now we'll stick with it. This is a new week, and so far so good. And like Anne Shirley says,
So here's to learning new things! Meeting new adventures! Getting on that horse again (and again and again and again if need be) and greeting the new year! :) Good luck everyone with your resolutions!

Yay! Resolutions!
Yeah, January's a great time to do them, but when you think about it - EVERY DAY is a new resolution for me. And thank HEAVEN for Sundays! Regroup, rethink, refocus,
RESOLUTE!
